Re: Gira española de Rata Blanca

Encontré una reseña que hizo Rob Fodder en el foro de la Rainbow Fan Clan Legacy para el show que diera con Rata Blanca en Madrid..

Just got back from rainy Madrid and the Rata Blanca and Doogie White show was an absolute stunner!!

Just before Doogie, there was another special guest. Herman "Mono" Burgos (ex Athletico Madrid goalkeeper) got up and sang a blues song.

Doogie's appearance was met by rapturous applause from the audience....but then got wilder as they launched into "Kill the King". I never thought that I'd hear this song again live and it blew me away. Walter Giardino's solo was amazing and as good as the "on Stage" version. Next was "Long Live Rock 'n' Roll" with the crowd singing every word of the song, this made for a great performance. You wouldn't have thought that Doogie and RB had rehearsed these 2 songs only once during the souncheck and that was enough for the great live performance later on. Doogie left the stage, adrenalin flowing from the highly charged audience.

Rata Blanca carried on the show, but didn't let the tempo drop as they played songs from their latest CD, "La Llave de la Puerta Secreta" and other crowd favourites.

There was a curfew at the venue and when Walter found out that there was some time left, he immediately asked Doogie back on stage where they brought the house down with "Highway Star" and Burn".....absolutely blistering!! The latter with Rata's vocalist, Adrian Barilari, taking on the Glenn Hughes vocal lines. Again, totally unrehearsed and you wouldn't have thought it.

This was the first show of Rata Blanca's Spanish tour, but you would have thought that it was the last as the band were excellent. I'm looking forward to getting back to Spain in a few days and catching some more of the tour.

Grande RATA BLANCA y DOOGIE WHITE rayos ese concierto debe de haber sido grandioso, si tocaron esas canciones, desde luego que lo fue.

Si alguien la grabó, por favor que lo suba :ver:
